“Missions is our
middle name!” Since
the inception of the
Christian and
Missionary Alliance
church, we have
strived to be a
movement with the
goal of doing our
part in reaching all
peoples of the world
with the gospel
message.
That movement has
over 700
missionaries
world-wide today.
We fully support our
missionaries with
both funding and
prayer support. Our
previous pastor,
Randy Clarke, and
his wife, Alicia,
are currently
serving in Uruguay
in a church-planting
ministry.
Our goal is to send
all members on a
short-term mission
trip in the next
five years. We
believe that we can
impact the world for
Christ as we go into
all the world to
make disciples. We
also know for a fact
that when we go on a
missions trip, we
will be forever
changed for the
better! Our desire
is to cultivate a
heart for the lost —
both around the
world and across the
street.
Our outreach
ministry works
primarily through
our small group
ministry to reach
the Grand Valley
with the Good News
of Jesus Christ.
Our outreach
ministries vary in
scope and
involvement.
We participate in
events ranging from
welcoming our
neighbors to our
side of town to
serving those in our
community who cannot
serve themselves
(single
women/widows/elderly/homeless…..)
In Acts 1:8 Jesus
tells His disciples,
“you will receive
power when the Holy
Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my
witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in
all Judea and
Samaria, and to the
ends of the earth."
We take this
statement of our
Lord as both a
command and as a
promise. We can be
kingdom workers and
reach our community
for Christ as we
rely on the Holy
Spirit! |
