River of Life Alliance church is part of the
Christian and Missionary Alliance Movement. The
C&MA has been around since 1887. The movement was
founded by A.B. Simpson and influenced by men and
women such as A.W. Tozer. We are well known and
respected among evangelical churches for our
commitment to the missionary endeavor of taking the
Gospel message to unreached people groups around the
world.
River of Life is defined by two Bible passages.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all you mind and with all
your strength. The second is this: Love your
neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment
greater than these." (Mark 12:30, 31) We will
strive to be a Great Commandment church.
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given
to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always to the very end of the
age." (Matthew 28:18-20) We will strive to be a
Great Commission church.
